yeeeeep, IFR into Idaho Falls...looks like. up top enroute for now tho.

setting up for IFR approach into KIDA.
direct the VOR to cross at 12000. then 7000 for approach course intercept at JEENY

letting go of altitude and heading down to 12,000 for a westerly course towards the VOR

turning direct DUBOIS VOR

over the VOR, turning outbound for the intercept course.

... okay like soup pockets. established on the intercept course with good setup shown on the instruments.

approach course intercepted and captured. noting the near area radar forward along the approach course.

stabilized on the approach course, gear down by the MM, FAF.

looking a bit foreboding, but that's the name of the game in IFR.

slowed to 90 KIAS and expected a flight down to minimums.

lowers my view line to see the weather radar...
yeah.. tomato soup.

surface detail observation below. we have roadway in sight.

... and what appears to be 'airport environment' in sight.

... 'runway environment' in sight, go for landing.

Looks fairly decent, at least not-IFR wise.
