wow, those are great, and huge. you should be able to upload them here and the forum software automatically makes an on-page thumbnail size (x640 wide) image for them. X-plane takes screenshots at it's display resolution size. You can then scale them down on your own if you like. 1/2 size would be fair. but I don't have a problem with full rez images.

I'm very glad you're enjoying the plane and having such a good time taking screenshots. :D

Aloha cosmiccheese,

Great shots!

Are those screens (I assume 3) attached to 1 single XP-unit? Or do you have 2 XP running, 1 with 1 monitor, 2nd with 2 montors?

1 unit with 3 monitors (2 DVi &1 HDMI) i plan on building a duplicate system to do co-pilot seat but i need to figure out how the spanning
will effect the FOV. i installed it and just put everything all the way up while at LAX and havent looked back yet. i had been expecting a
huge drop as XP9 destroyed my old setup  but figured what could it hurt.

Thanks for the info! I just bought fraps and it is taking full res jpgs for me instead of the scaled down png's that x-plane was exporting. I figure it has something to do with my nvidia span that makes x-plane not like it.

Aloha cosmiccheese ,

Not sure what's happening.

For my setup (using nVidia 580: 1 XP unit driving 1 LCD + 1 XP unit driving 2 LCD, the screenshots only covery the 2 LCD setup (that's the master). It is a trade off. My 2 LCD setup can't deal with 5760 x 1200. I could dial down the eye candy, but then I might as well run XP8 (eight) to keep the same FPS. 1 XP unit handling all of this is maxxing out the nVidia 580 easily. So much that gfx air exhaust is 65+ Celsius, and the fan is like an turbofan compressor :D

Maybe a less resource gobbling option is GreenShot for Win; a screenshot utility. I noticed Frap uses up quite some FPS.

There's a monitor lateral offset setting - maybe this works for you?

Ill have to check that one out. right now i get 40-100 FPS with varying factors such as rain with night or day and if the other 9 ai are in 747's
or 172SP's. though i did see 12 FPS when for some reason xp decided i needed 8 747's taxing at LAX. My 670 runs at 65 under
sustained load but thats at 1190MHZ oc. I hadnt had a new pc in so long i splurged. right now i have 3 670's in it but xp only
uses 1 so i never enable sli mode for it, though FSX doesnt use them either. Ill check into the lateral offset when i get the second
unit up.

EC145_10 at one of the Florida area airports, I forget which though.
with Global Shadows on high, to get shadows cast by all the scenery objects.
I held off posting these to bump the page from Ralf's nice pics at the end of the prior page.
