very cool. that's similar to one in there with the Malibu now. Yours looks great and I like the extra details. Great job.

Either should work (although you'd have to set attach points in plane maker). B-52 might be a little too fast, maybe go for a C-130 or tow from a DC-3 (the plywood M2-F1 was towed up by an R4D since it was too fragile for the B-52, if I recall). I was thinking of adding a drop tank under the fuselage to get an extra couple hundred pounds of fuel. Since it's not air-breathing it basically just keeps on climbing until it runs out of gas.

Hmm.

right. the entered #'s for fuel and Vne are RRL specific, and airframe legal (vne). I think you can easily take up a drop tank for additional fuel*. I know that much of it's onboard fuel is consumed simply for takeoff. so a decent tow and up to alt would be good. I forget if it has a tow hook location entered, probably not, lemme look. I think i'd go for a -52 drop. maybe using one that was altered to lower it's Vne so that AI flies it slower.

notice anything different?

if you think the SR22T is a "fast" plane.. even at ~190... screaming...
QSAF is a wander around the park. (31.5mi @ 190 = 9.5 minute lap* (compared to xM!G turning in ≤3 minutes))

Tow-launch from a Starship at 200 kias, 6000 ft. BIG difference! I think the speed matters more than the altitude.

Taken while up checking out some things, updating a couple entries, adjusting the interior textures some, testing stability and handling. :)

((PSD auto leveled night CTJ interior. CTJ has low 'night' light look,
this is adjusted to show that it's there and be seen during daytime website viewing))
((altered with same image blurred, and set to screen @ 50% to lighten it up for daytime
website viewing and look like 'glow' which I do wish is an rendering feature in v10))
