Realized my anti-alias level was at its lowest setting! Turned it up a bit and wondering if this looks any better. Composition is good at any rate and I left the image full size! My other shots were barely over 100k which probably contributed to poor quality.

Nice Pics Ralf & sharp--might be worth dropping your Gamma a bit and uping your contrast just to 'Rich it up a bit'

Shes a nice one to fly alright especially around the West coast USA--Washington. There just so many small airfields for flying VFR in light aircraft through challenging Valley/Mountain terrain where you can set up the Seminoles GPS/FMS then fly the Valleys switching between that and the Heading compass so as to stay in the Valley route rather than point to point over the top. Makes good flying and offers some great screenshot scenery enroute in particular if you set weather to' Real' and fly either Dawn/Dusk. With the weather on Real be prepared to suddenly find yourself navigating VFR just a few hundred feet above & following a river!!! I'm just doing the Dozen Fields between WN76--KEAT---0S7

Have a good flight & lets see the results--Swantee

All your guy's activity is fantastic, keep it coming. I might re-institute the monthly screenshot contest if you all keep having such a prolific good time. Might be a good time to do it again with v10 and it's saucy shadows and new water. Maybe.

A109E update coming soon. Night render being done now, new night textures already baked. I'll have a look at them tomorrow in the sim to see what I think. This shows the daytime render which is in the present version (recent update). The A109E is a pretty sweet helicopter.. now's a great time to get in on one if you haven't yet.

Taking the Piper Arrow for a flight over the North Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. Took off out of KCLM and headed west for a little sight seeing. Vancouver Island, BC can be seen across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. This is my real life neck of the woods so I can attest to this being a gorgeous little corner of the earth! :D

that looks great. do you have Inside Passage by Howdy? it doesn't extend down into Washington, it begins at Vancouver and goes up the Canadian coastline. It's among one of the single best scenery add on's to be had.

I don't have inside passage yet but that and final frontier top my list for my first scenery purchase I think. The Boeing country airports look mighty tasty, too. In the meantime I've been having fun with some surprisingly well made free scenery that's out there.

My favorite too weez all the way down the coast to Mexico. There must be more Aeroports/Airfields in that North/South run passing through Temperate to Subtropical zones, via such diverse Geology, than there are on some entire continents. I've started to make my landings more stop-overs--going online to get the Nitty Gritty details of the (More often than not remote) places I Kite into--some of those minor towns have the strangest of histories hidden under the tarmack.

It's an amazing spring day here in London-Have a G'day yourselves--where ever!!

Sounds good Jason--lets just rope in a few more punters!

oh definitely. Ralf just put some scenery locations he made onto the recently posted Flight Operations section mission. Kiofka has some in there also. I am always quick to refer to Howdy's sceneries as they are soo amazingly expansive and chock full of nooks and crannies to explore. at least one or two missions Kiofka wrote lets people explore some of the little airports in Howdy's sceneries. I'm very anxious to go have a look at the ones Ralf has done recently and maybe we'll see if we can get Bob Marsh's Marathon Keys KMTH up and available here. Steve Winslow also sent some over recently I need to buzz the towers at too. I know a couple of those will be while looking at A109E interiors while doing, and some of the others will be a matter of which LFX livery to pick to rev it up and go rack up some NTSB complaints on myself while doing.

update about to post imminently, as soon as I get over to the other topic and rev it with new #'s. please note, this is the blender render. your mileage may vary in x-plane. in v10bX you do have to turn up the panel light rheostats to get it's full brightness, else the panel lights look very anemic by default at half power. they are rendered at maximum that they can be, x-plane defaults to ~50% intensity. nuffin I can do about that.

zurg. that makes that the 43rd update to the A109E during 9X. I feel compelled to list out the quantity of updates for each thing, marking the quantity of work, re-work, and attendance everything gets on an ongoing basis. The A109E, having received fourth three updates during 9X.
