Cruising over SF Bay in the Agusta 109E into a beautiful sunset over the pacific... maybe I should start a helicopter tours company! Or does that only work in Hawaii...

The FedEX Terminal is now in place. Here is a shot of the FedEX Cirrus Jet parked at the main entrance Ramp at the FedEX terminal building at the North End of Runway 03.

Colani Fanliner

Postby GlowWorm »

Cabin Creek (I08) is a fun approach to fly: http://bit.ly/Mountain_Flying I used the Colani Fanliner for X-Plane at 60 kts. You get a Kai Tak feeling.

The pic below is taken above Grand Canyon just before I prepared to dive to the riverbed. It's where I test the handling of new planes by meandering like the river at 50 to 100ft AGL (max 200 ft) at Vno (or sometimes just below Vne).

BX206 over Corsica

Postby capnsully »

Well, getting better at approaches & actually experiencing soft landings, after doing heaps of flying & filming over the huge Corsica scenery pack from:

http://myspace.voo.be/thdamman/xplane/crbst_4.html

So, it looks like my next video will be based here...but as ever, it will be quite different, a biiiig surprise - but you'll all have to wait! Probably a good month of editing over the weekends.

Yes the cockpit's basic, but Jason was right in recommending it to me, it's basic, good for us noobs:

great shots Simon. reminds me I want to do something about that 3d cabin interior light, casting red making a pink wash during the day.. in the update coming, that light is getting changed to white, and sooner than later I want to redo that panel pod, with a glareshield extension, and migrate it fwd a little.

coming soon:
