First online flight in XP10, NCRG to NTAA in the LJ25. Logged as 111 mins, 617 nm. Discovered on this flight that the default mean-time-between-failures setting (10,000 I believe) is stupidly low in XP10; had lost altimeter and VVI, with airspeed giving nonsensical readings, by the time I arrived. Fortunately I could use the groundspeed figure on the GPS for speed, the AOA and horizon to know how close I was to stalling, and the radio-altimeter for altitude, and all in VFR conditions, so mostly just an inconvenience. (I really appreciate that a lot of your jets have AOA indicators; I often find myself wishing for one when I'm flying other big aircraft.) Needless to say the plane got some "maintenance" before the next flight…
I have been having a good time with the new free stuff, thanks for posting it! I was pleasantly surprised to find the CRX has about the most reasonable "flight model" (for lack of a better term) of any ground vehicle I can recall using in XP. The Mu-2 EVO is great too, have made several moderately long flights in that one. I like the C170 as well (although it was frustrating when, flying in northern Arizona, XP10's ATC decided 9,000 feet wasn't good enough and I should climb to 12,000! This was the moment when I decided to give up on default ATC for a while) and of course the Tilt-rotor is a lot of fun.
