great shot Max! the update to
Seawing &
Targawing have the production notes and poh back in there.
While talking through some systems and topics about the
Starship with GlowWorm today. I flew two circuits around Great Falls in the Starship, watching and describing torque, speeds, pitch angles, alpha angles, pattern speed, base-final speed, short final speed, threshold crossing, roundout, flare and landing speeds. I described about all the extraordinarily unique systems, even one that the Starship has that Austin does have in planemaker to set including the text "...we're unaware of any aircraft that uses this", well the Starship does.
The
Starship is a serious exercise in radically unique aircraft, flight qualities, systems, and pilot methods. Flying it, well, is not for the feint of heart.
Canard wing aircraft are very unique, I actually highly suggest the
Velocity XL for practicing and getting familiar with the flight qualities of
canard aircraft. The
Starship is to the
Velocity, what the King Air is to an
Arrow.
