That looks great Max. Is it live, or is it Memorex?

I think that picture looks real. I think some atmospheric attenuation, desaturate maybe 10-15% and a very light blur, and it be a photograph.

I started exploring Nova Scotia today, there's nice scenery at the .org by Jacques Brault. The screenies show Margaree airport, CCZ4. I never flew the Saratoga before so I came in a little fast.

Those look pretty good Ralf. good attitude and landing posture. I think you did excellent, I especially like that first shot.

I find that in heavier aircraft that it's best to have a little extra speed, and let it erode off in the roundout and flare for the smoothest landings. Looks good and thank you for showing those. I didn't know Jacques had turned to making scenery. can you link to that, if you like. Jacques is very consistent in his work, those might make some good sceneries for mission locations.

My first repaint with that "GIMP thing". It has some very powerful tools but everything is working different.

Gimp is very peculiar. I need to look at the latest version of it for something it has an ability to do that my present version of photoshop doesnt. for one thing at least. I really really think they need to re-do it's GUI to to put everything in one program space, instead of program menu UI on the top of every document window. that drives me bonkers. that, and the cartoonish tool pallette. it just feels like a powerful opensource app that is a mockery in terms of UI efficiency. same could be said for blender, but I do say that blender has things very tightly laid out, albeit cryptically so.
