I do. ;) Thanks for the Florida Keys screenies. I travelled down the Keys few times by car, good memories. I was there with XP9 before but XPX looks better.

AADX XLJX XVII

After finishing the recent round of updated interior renders for LFX and LJX, I felt compelled to rev up "jet-ex" for a hot lap of throw down at the Bonneville Fast Track (QSAF). I think I'm a little short on time today to do Eagles Nest or Hugo's Haven missions. Maybe tomorrow. I also want to think about what I might want to do with interior lighting for use with NVG, or for a Black Op. I also need to talk to the QSAF site honcho about getting Hangar K upgrade cemented in.

I forget if I posted this before, I found it on my desktop still.

Took a trip from KOMK to KGEG today in the Mirage. It looked like a nice day to fly. A little windy and a little hazy, but otherwise things looked decent...or so I thought. ;)

Weight off wheels at KOMK...

Set up at cruising altitude enroute to KGEG. 200 KTAS, life is good....

This is what happened about 20 miles out from Spokane. Whiskey...Tango...Foxtrot.... :x

ILS approach to minimums at KGEG runway 21. I'm a little stressed at this point and realized that I forgot to set my altimeter.... :oops:

Phew...actually made a nice landing. You've gotta love the Pacific Northwest!

CIRRUS SR2X (SR22T TURBO pictured)

To get a real sense of scale of QSAF track, including the height of the peak going over the quad. Try running it in a plane you think is fast*. I ran it today in the Turbo SR22, at sustained 350hp boil, trying to grapple to cling onto 180knots... and well. I'll say. give it a try, you'll definitely learn some things. The next fastest may be the Mirage, Malibu or Seneca. Then try... hmm... maybe, LFX ( IIX / IX ). :D

* avgas propeller based planes.

Thanks Ralf. the Hangar is in progress of getting put into QSAF presently.
It's been sized up more and the Starship was a good sized model to check it's fit in. :)

That Cirrus SR22 is a beaute to fly Jason--still get hassles with her GPS if anything that is Gizmo dependant is in the vicinity & visa versa (and only SR22?) but running them on seperate installs has sorted that. Does she fly that smooth in reality?

other parts of the topic were moved to a new topic of it's own about it in squawks&bugz.

I'm really glad you enjoy the SR2X and all the planes so much Swantee1.
It's very reassuring to have you here and your easy going character. :D

Some updates posted today to xHawk and XLFX IIX. little cosmetic adjustments in them to various areas. :)
