Cirrus The Jet Keyboard Options for Views

Postby efurtz25 »

I just flew the Cirrus Jet (in Xplane 10) and would love some feedback on how to use my keyboard to change views like I can with the Antares 20E?

Great aircraft....just be easier to use keyboard commands for various camera views.....

Thanks,
Rick

Oh ok then something is not correct with my version since NO keys at all do anything to alter view. BTW where can I get a panel like yours......?

look at the menu it shows them all
as also the x-plane/output/preferences/X-Plane Keys.prf (which you can open with a text editor to read

if you have run a plane that uses a plug-in and alters x-plane's behavior, it may not function normally as it's supposed to

I also think you're referring to the Cirrus Jet that comes with X-Plane. that's not mine. ;)
the picture I posted showing the view menu is of the Cirrus SR2X interior

heh, mine came before the default one and is better in many ways. :D

this one's mine ; CTJ :: Cirrus Design SJ-50 "VISION" 10X

Ok that might be the issue then. So by using a plugin for another aircraft the view controls have been disrupted for my stock XPlane 10 version of Cirrus Jet?
If I purchase yours will I get the complete panel as shown in your first photo (including the center console)?

Thx,

Rick

program plug-in's by third party authors alter x-plane's behavior.
what x-plane does after that plug-in has run, may or may not be consistent with what x-plane should do normally

you can get my Cirrus Jet if you like, and it comes with the panel and 3d cockpit interior shown.
it's not the same as the default Cirrus Jet.
mine has a third screen down on the center console area with extra on-screen controls.
the flight models are wholly different. I have an FAQ on my CTJ page which covers much of that.
